The client is seeking a distributor partner who has established relationships with manufacturers of drug eluting stents and medical implants to help expand their business into the US medical device market.
Technology Reserve’s client manufactures systems for making very thin, precisely controlled films for spray coating medical devices such as drug-eluting stents. They are ISO-qualified, but currently do not sell to medical manufacturers outside their home country in Asia.
Technology Reserve’s client would like to expand to the US market and is looking for a sales specialist with extensive experience in medical devices, strong domain expertise in implant manufacturing, and relationships with potential manufacturing partners. The client offers performance comparable to US suppliers of competing technology, but at a lower price point and with the option of custom- ization for each end user.
An ideal expert partner will have:
- Expertise in the US implantable medical device market
- Broad understanding of the technologies used for thin-film coatings
- Expertise in the distribution of medical equipment
